Updating to Chrome version 100

Updating to Chrome version 100

We have received some feedback that reports are not working in the Google Chrome browser for some folks. The feedback is that reports are not displaying and there is only a blank gray area where the report normally displays. We have some suspicions that this is being caused be a recent update to Chrome which changes the version number to 100. This article will guide you through updating to the latest version which will hopefully resolve the reporting issues.

To check your current version of Chrome: Click on the menu, which is 3 vertical dots in the upper right hand corner of the browser window, directly below the "X" which closes the window. Choose the 2nd-to-last option, Help. Then, from the sub-menu, select the "About Google Chrome" option. This will tell you if you are already running the latest version or if there is an update available. If there is an option button to relaunch or restart Chrome to get the latest version, you should click that button. Otherwise, you may have to wait until the update is available to you. Sometimes, your IT department may block automatic updates to Google Chrome. If that's the case, please contact support and we will help with the IT department.
